How to find your way on the Kythera Trails
Every Kythera Trails route starts at a trailhead sign. The hiking trails are also signposted at every junction and waymarked in blue and white all along the way, so you can walk with confidence. Here is what each sign means.

At the start of every hiking trail and cycling route you will find a large information panel with:
At junctions, wooden posts with white plates show where you are and where each path leads. Every direction plate gives the trail code, the walking time and distance, and the destination in Greek and English.

Between junctions, the trail is marked with blue and white paint on rocks, walls and trees.
Cycling routes have trailhead signs, but no signposts or painted waymarks along the way. Use the offline navigation in the Kythera Trails app: download the route before you set off and follow it on your phone.
Walk carefully, you walk at your own risk. Mobile signal is patchy in places: do not walk alone.
